Karen Clark

Karen comes from a multi-denominational background but finds great peace and joy in belonging to the Methodist church. In 2018 God challenged her to leave her church and move into new and exciting role of community worker and over the next few years, pushed and prompted by God, Karen followed the calling to be a Local Lay Pastor where her love of worship alongside her background as a creative designer, childminder and in nursing have been put to use. Karen works in and around the church and wider community and feels a strong calling into building community and togetherness and shining God's light into new places. Karen's works within the church community leading café church and out into the local schools, care homes and toddler groups and wider community. She loves her work and continues to be amazed at how God is able to use her in ways she never dreamed of.

Karen enjoys being creative and spending time with her four children and husband. Karen's happy place is on the beach looking for fossils, shells, sea glass and pretty pebbles and nurturing her indoor houseplants
