Willerby Methodist Church was opened in 1966 and extension of a hall and storage area were added a few years later. We also have a lounge, an office and a coffee shop. We are part of a church hub in our circuit together with Derringham Bank, Cottingham and Askew Avenue.

We have regular Sunday morning services at 1030am We have a membership of about 90 persons. The church has a full sound system and projector and we zoom our Sunday services and also post them on You tube. The hall also has a full stage with stage lighting and there is a full sound system and projector. The lounge has a large screen TV with HDMI leads.

We employ an older persons worker and a family worker. For the older person we have a fortnightly meeting with a speaker and a meal and on the alternate weeks there is a coffee morning or a film morning. The family worker organises weekly Time for Tots, Friday club and chillzone for school aged children and once a month on a Saturday morning we have a family fun morning where craft and play are encouraged.

We have several fellowship groups including a wives group, men's brunch group, bible study and men's breakfast group. We also produce a bi-monthly magazine called time out which lists activities in all four of the hub churches.

The church premises are also used extensively by outside groups and we stage regular events in the church such as choirs, brass band concerts and other entertainment.

There is easy access to the church building with no steps. There is also a church community garden at the side of the church which is used by the brownies , tots and the community.

The coffee shop is open on a Wednesday and Friday mornings run by the older persons worker and volunteers.

We have a good relationship with the local school who attend for services at certain times of the year.
