The church building was opened in 1928 and is dominated by a large impressive domed sanctuary; the building is grade II listed. There are regular Sunday morning services commencing at 10.30am and twice a quarter we will meet for a joint service with our fellow Connect 4 Hub churches, Bricknell Avenue and Clowes with Mosaic. Being situated close to the university our congregation will often include students of various nationalities. Following the service there is an opportunity for refreshments and a chat. There is a sound system in the sanctuary, although in the winter months we usually meet in the church hall which is less costly to heat. Large print hymn books are available.

In addition to Methodist services the building is also used for worship by Romanian, Asian and Nigerian Chistian Churches.

The Trinity Scout Group meets every Thursday. Further details can be found at trinityscouts.org.uk.

A coffee morning is held every Tuesday at 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and Knit & Natter meet every Thursday at 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Trinitots, our pre-school parent and toddler group, meet every Tuesday at 9.30am. The church also runs the Circuit's ReUniform project, with an excellent team of dedicated volunteers, who collect, recycle and distribute free school uniforms throughout the Hull area.

The church buildings are used extensively throughout the week by many other community organisations.
