Brough Methodist is situated at the heart of the community of Brough and serves the Elloughton / Brough and surrounding area.

Our services are at 10.30am and can be accessed in person or on Zoom. They are an eclectic mix of traditional and modern and on the third Sunday of the month we hold an informal café service.

Brough is part of the West Hub community and on the first Sunday of the month we join with the other 5 churches to share worship.

Regular activity includes:

Mondays 9.30 – 11.30 Warm Welcome drop in with chat, support, friendship, refreshment and activities.

Tuesday 9.15 – 11.15 Let's Play session. Suitable from birth, this friendly, supportive group is welcoming and inclusive and eco-friendly! (Let's play also runs 10 – 12 alternate Saturdays)

Wednesday 10am Prayer group

Wednesday afternoon/evening Ladies group with local speakers and activities. (check for dates and times)

Saturday 10 – 12 Coffee morning with books, jigsaws, refreshment, support and friendship.

Brough Methodist is a completely accessible and inclusive church with level access throughout, T loop, large print books, accessible toilets, a range of seating to suit all people and has an inclusive policy and mindset that seeks to accommodate all needs. We welcome all ages equally and recognise that we are all children of God and worship alongside one another in all our diversity.

We work in and around our local community, schools, nurseries and care homes.

Brough is home to the Children's clothes share where we invite the local community to recycle outgrown clothes and we also run an online toy and equipment share all items are free and you can take as much as you wish. This Eco-friendly project draws the whole community together in seeking Net Zero.

During the week, our building is used by many community groups such as Brownies, Slimming world and Brough Eagles playgroup, dance groups etc.

Our minister is Rev. Andrew Orton and our Local Lay Pastor is Karen Clark.
