Greetings from Chaplain Kathy at Willersley House….. we are still here and still doing our best to enjoy life.
Above is our celebration for St David’s day where I dressed up in Welsh National dress and shared pictures of my visit to St David’s Cathederal. We made Welsh flags and ate Welsh cakes with afternoon tea.
Life continues as normally as it can without our relatives and friends being able to visit. Everything is at 2 meters distance, which means we are limited to numbers at each activity but we still enjoy as much as we can… You can follow us on line at MHA Facebook.com
Visits are now taking place in our POD which enables family to enter at one side and residents in the other side with a Perspex screen in between. Residents tell us it feels quite cosy and they are so happy being able to see their loved ones.
Services take place on Thurs morning at 10.45am and Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm.
We are fortunate in that being in a bubble we are able to SING OUR HYMNS.
Activities happen each morning and afternoon…… see the most recent ones on our facebook page.
We celebrated Easter week with a Passover meal in service on Maundy Thursday, a Tenebrae meditation on Good Friday afternoon and a Celebration Service on Easter Afternoon.
Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and pray that we will ALL soon be able to give each other a HUG…..
Easter Blessins to you all
