"Spirit led, a heart for Jesus and a passion for mission"

Lay Pastors

A healthy Christian community is one in which people know that they are loved, visitors are welcome and young and old alike are valued and feel safe. The care that we offer, both at times of crisis and in everyday life is an active proclamation of God’s love in Christ and for all the world.

Whilst all in the Church are involved in the health of that body, some are called to provide specific Pastoral Care and there are a number of trained, Circuit appointed Lay Pastors who assist and are supervised by the Superintendent Minister.

The quality of our caring is a sign of God’s love and a witness to others that Christians have something special to offer a broken world that needs healing and reconciliation.
